Safety & Wellness Series - Slips & Falls Workshop
Thu., January 14, 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Jointly sponsored and presented by the WCA, Lake Sunapee Region VNA & Hospice and New London Hospital at WCA Red Barn 64 Village Rd, Wilmot, NH. Matt Petrin, OTR/L, Director of Sports Medicine and Therapy Services from New London Hospital and Angela Lacey, PT from the LSRVNA will help you learn how to avoid slips and falls that can lead to injuries. Free and Open to all. Refreshments will be served.
Gun Safety Class
Sat., January 16, 9:00 a.m. - 2:15 p.m. - New Hampshire Telephone Museum will be hosting an NRA Home Firearms Safety Course presented by Gold Star Tactical, LLC in the museum lower meeting room. Cost is $50 with a deposit of $20 and pre-registration required. Contact Dennis Crawford at [email protected]. This is a non-shooting class.
Bradford Fundraiser
Sat., January 16, 6:30-8:30 p.m. - The Bradford Bog People will perform at a concert to benefit the restoration of the Bradford Town Hall at Pizza Chef, 107 Main St., Bradford. Come, join the fun and help restore our town hall!
Homer's "The Odyssey"
Sun., January 17, 21, 4-5 p.m. at Schoodacs Coffee House. Well-known storyteller Odds Bodkin will be performing "The Odyssey" for three Sundays starting January 10th. One $50 ticket gets you in to all three shows. Seats are very limited. RSVP directly to Schoodacs as soon as possible if you wish to purchase tickets.

Tunes and Tales - A fun Way to Encounter Wildlife
Sat., March 5, 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Little Nature Museum will be sponsoring a talk by award-winning environmental educator, journalist, and song-leader, Ruth Smith. Ruth will share some traditional and original tales about NH wildlife using engaging songs and easy to sing tunes to teach about plants and animals. This free family oriented program for all ages will teach about wildlife special traits and adaptations; the audience will be invited to participate. Join us!
